The PC Power supply is the cheapest to start. many guys use them and I am sure there is a thread how to build it in the HOW To`s section

Can't remember what wattage the last PC power supply I converted was, but it pushed out around 20A and cost a lot less than it's RC specific counterpart. Worked well.

Oops!!

I'll be starting on mine shortly. Hopefully I'll get it done without the blowing up part.

Mine's done, no blowing up. Didn't have a 10 W 10 ohm resistor so used a dual filament car light bulb instead(might put in a second one to boost the voltage a bit). The power supply voltage sits at 12.04 and is sufficient to power the one charger I have at the moment. I put in plugs for 12V, 5V and 3.3V.

Going to have to get another charger or two to test how many of them can run run at 5 amps at the same time. :)
