 Super stock to 10T Brushless
Ok guys many have moved on to brushless and I was just wondering how many teeth did you go up or down to keep the brushless running smooth...
I am currently running 105 41 and was wondering what suggestions could be made... I currently havent had it heat up to much but it is getting warm. so obvioulsy need to go down a few teeth. Just curious how much brushless changed everyones gearing

Re: Super stock to 10T Brushless
Our theory is if the motor or esc does not cut out then it's not running hot or fast enough.

Re: Super stock to 10T Brushless
As Hybridsan said, you gear a brushless to a temp. Ideally you need a temp gauge to check the temp after a run. Advice is not to exceed +- 70C

Re: Super stock to 10T Brushless
for a 10t brushless your gearing sound ok. if dropping a few teeth i wouldnt go more than 3 - 4 teeth. so long as motor doesnt go over 70 deg/c you smiling. You can also make sure to use a heatsink on the motor.
