since then i've fitted my electronics except for a gyro....ive adjusted my suspension similiar to my cs car but just a bit more....layed down the shocks as much as possible fitted the softest springs i have and put in droop screws in the rear. then upfront my shocks are straight up and medium hard....ride height lower at the back than the front cos i know that traction will be an issue.

all thats left is to get a gyro fit it and tune! so im actually very close to trying out rwd for the first time...

my problem is that i still wanna be able to drive my car a bit then throw it into a drift but im sure thats not how its going to happen...so to unlearn cs and learn rwd is going to be a challenge but one that im finally prepared to take.

the steering lock isnt alot for rwd but we will see how it goes....

    sounds good man.

i would go extreme hard in front and slowly work your way down, same for back, extreme soft and work your way up. this way you will find your sweet spot. Its all about balance at the end of the day and if you work on the see-saw system you will find your balance alot quicker than working from the centre out, as you wont know which way to go (like a rat trapped in a maze)

if you were smooth with awd you should be okay with rwd... when i mean smooth i mean how you throttle control. How you turn is what makes it unique and where you grow your own style.

A good style to learn is active steering, where you adjust mid drift, this is where you see the front wheels turning ever so slightly. Thus showing the driver is controlling the direction of the slide. You will notice some just put into drift mode and floor it and let the chassis do its things at full lock and just counter to turn in opposite direction, and you will notice some making it look super realistic. That should be your aim, realism over anything else first.

Cant wait to see what it does at Round 2... keep us updated

haha just kidding man... street style is best, it stays timeless. you can put that body away this year and in ten years take it out again and it will still be relevant.

well if i can get it up and running by round 2 then perhaps i would enter but dont quote me on that haha i must say though the very idea of starting rwd is very exciting! i am ,however, by no means done with cs though! i still have alot i want to achieve in cs before focusing only on rwd.

Hey guys just an update.....so after nationals weekend i realised that converting my streetjam to rwd is going to prove to be quite a task and after driving a proper rwd car im hooked. I love cs and i think i will still continue with it but im definatly going to go rwd sooner than later.....so im taking the rest of this year to focus even more on my cs , brushing up my skills and setup skills too and then giving rwd a crack from next year!
