Has RC gear gotten more expensive or are guys being silly?

    Hi there everybody.

So as of late if gotten back into the whole RC scene being drift in particular. Iv been out of it for more than 5years now I think and thought I'd take up the hobby again cause its just lank fun. Anyways I have been browsing around before buying and speaking to guys not just talking about the forum but in general.

But I don't know if im maybe out with the times or what, but like the same gear I've seen a couple of years back are either the same price or even more expensive. I don't know. What's up with that though guys?

Thought that there would be new gear coming out and the old things would have gotten cheaper.

    Was just a thought.

    Take it easy

old things are cheaper... but not relevant when talking about drifting.

then to answer your question, food has gone up and so has fuel... our rand is dumb (no offense to dumb people) and this causes many issues. its not just SA though. all over the world the price of rc drift goodies has gone up (probably all of rc) and this is due to many reasons but one reason is the chase for realism... when a company gets the most realistic body/part made its either damn expensive or made in limited quantities and this too makes it damn expensive haha.

so yes, you probably regret it now for leaving in the first place ... dont worry this is how i felt when i came back too... but luckily for it was not as expensive.

anyway just go rwd man... you going to spend money either way you might aswell spend it one time on a kit that you can enjoy for a long time. if you were a total newcomer i would not say this but you have tried awd now try rwd. sell your awd to fund the rwd.
